About Us

CFÉRO is a consortium formed by 11 post-secondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Northern Ontario. We serve Francophone students with learning disabilities (LD).


The institutions in the consortium include:

  • Collège Boréal (campus of Hearst, Kapuskasing, New Liskeard, Nipissing, Sudbury and Timmins);
  • Université de Hearst (campus of Hearst, Kapuskasing and  Timmins);
  • Laurentian University;
  • Algoma University;
  • Cambrian College;
  • Canadore College;
  • Confederation College;
  • Lakehead University
  • Nipissing University;
  • Northern College; and
  • Sault College;

The CFÉRO office is located at Collège Boréal’s main campus in Sudbury. CFÉRO and NOARC provide similar intake procedures in order to enable students to easily access required services.
