Our Mandate
We provide quality psychoeducational assessment services in French to students suspected of having a learning disability or those who have been previously diagnosed with a learning disability (LD). This does not consist of mental health assessments; however, in cases of comorbid mental health disorders, we will assess client needs. The centre delivers specialized recommendations and provides accommodations for students based on assessments.
Our Standards
- Accessibility: Deliver timely assessments in the area closest to the student, whenever possible.
- Quality: Provide assessments and recommendations in accordance to College of Psychologists of Ontario guidelines and based on the best practices in psychology.
- Continuity/Collaboration: Our main priority is the client. With the client’s consent, we ensure ongoing services between referring institutions and collaborators.
